Ya'll, I am so excited to announce that there has been a new addition to the family. Please welcome my sweet feline child- Amaya! Amaya, which means "nighttime rain" in Japanese, (apparently, I guess I wouldn't know if I was wrong) was born August 14th to a cat of a family friend. I have gotten to see this sweet baby grow since the day she was born, and I was just over the moon last Tuesday when I finally got to meet her for myself. Amaya's favorite things to do are play with her BB-8 toy and chomp on her mom's hair. When she gets tired, she usually passes out on my lap to restore energy to go on a kitten-insanity rampage around my room again. When she attacks her toys, she makes odd chirps that I like to call her "Pokemon noises" because there really is no better way to describe the weird sounds she can do. It honestly gets creepy at night when I hear her preparing to pounce on my feet and do her little alien scream, but she's so cute
